We are delighted to have your child join our Reggio-inspired learning community. Why are we named Little Ferns? Ferns are generally associated with qualities such as resilience, beauty, and growth which makes them a perfect symbol for young children. Our approach values children as capable, curious, and creative individuals. We foster a nurturing environment where exploration, collaboration, and self-expression are at the heart of learning.
Who We Are
Our Story
I began my journey in childcare in 2014 by opening a home daycare so I could stay home with my children while also contributing financially to my family. What started as a small in-home program quickly grew into a large home daycare filled with families who trusted me with their little ones.
In March of 2024, I was approached by the owner of the building we are currently in and asked, “Hey, do you want to buy a daycare?”
My assistant Tayler and I had already been in school for two years with the dream of one day opening our own childcare center — so my answer was an excited, “Actually, yes!”
And the rest was history.
In March of 2025, we proudly opened Little Ferns Child Development Center. Since then, it has become a wonderful place for our community to receive high-quality, nurturing care. I have loved every minute of this journey and am so grateful for the families who have grown with us. I am incredibly excited for the future of Little Ferns and all that’s still to come.
